The additional design feature of a moveable solid metal plate creates a multitude of options. Position the plate on top of the wire seat to create a stable place for cups & glasses. Place the plate on the bottom rungs to create a space to hold shoes, books, & plants, or remove it entirely for a sleeker more streamlined look.
Each bench comes with one plate included, with extras being available for purchase separately, enabling you to add more as you need.
Before powder coating, we spray each wire chair with a special PVDF base coat, ensuring durability & rust resistance. Because of this they can be used both indoors & in sheltered outdoor areas. If you live near the ocean, or in an area of high rainfall, we recommend that you check out our stainless steel range.
Because of the handcrafted nature of making the Benmore bench, each one is unique. Our furniture is not mass produced!
The straightness of wires depends on if the wire is taken from the outside of the roll (larger circle,) or from the inner roll where the coil is tighter. We consider a little wiggle in the wires as personality, not a fault.
