For general cleaning wipe down using a soft damp cloth. A small amount of finish may transfer to cloth. Do not use harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive materials. To protect and maintain wood, wax occasionally with a high quality clear furniture wax. Always use placemats and coasters and wipe up spills immediately. Care should be taken to avoid extreme conditions of heat and moisture which can cause natural movements in the wood.
